Ayn Rand was once asked if she could present her philosophy while standing on one foot.
She replied:
1. Metaphysics: Objective Reality
2. Epistemology: Reason
3. Ethics: Self-interest
4. Politics: Capitalism
She then translated those terms into more familiar language:
1. "Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed."
2. "You can’t eat your cake and have it too."
3. "Man is an end in himself."
4. "Give me liberty or give me death."
This is who I am.
First and foremost, I am an Objectivist, understanding Ayn Rand's teachings, not those of some of her later students; Dr. Kelly's crowd. They, I do not understand. Do not bother in sending emails trying to change my mind on this subject, it will not happen; nor have I any interest in discussing such foolishness. Any and all emails with this in mind will be destroyed. For those of you out there who choose to twist her philosophy, I wish you would find a new name for what ever it is you believe; it is no longer Objectivism.
I would love to hear from any of you out there who still hold the truth in your minds. It is a rare find and I would love to have some rational people to talk to.
I like photography, so in the future you will find many pictures taken with a Miranda Sensorex II camera.
